Advantages of FT-NIR technology over traditional NIR instruments
- Information content - Classical filter devices operate with just a few selected wavelengths. The NIRFlex N-500, on the other hand, covers a spectral range from 1000 to 2500 nm, recorded with optimal resolution for the analysis of your samples.
- Fast - All frequencies are measured simultaneously and strike the detector at the same moment. The advantage: high optical throughput, improved signal- to-noise ratio.
- High precision and reproducibility - Wavelength accuracy is guaranteed by sampling the interferometer using a HeNe laser signal. This ensures calibration transfer between instruments.
- Unlimited range of applications - A wide variety of samples can be checked with the same instrument.
